Generally, forests under Forest360 management are closed to public access. However, in certain circumstances public access maybe be granted for recreational purposes such as hunting, hiking, mountain biking providing it does not conflict with or compromise its core business activities and is safe for the public to do so.

All public access into Forest360 managed forests is controlled through a forest permit system.

Note:

Easements & Right of Ways

Where any Forest360 managed forests contain easements or right of ways that provide public access across other land areas such as DoC Forest Parks or Rivers for fishing, people can travel on these without acquiring a permit, but they must abide by the conditions and Forest360s’ risk management measures:
